A little more about Coach SJ.

My fitness journey began at the wee age of 2. My step-father  owned a gym, competed in body building and later owned a gymnastics center in town. From there, I fell in love with fitness. I was a competitive gymnast my entire childhood. My mother coached my softball and basketball teams growing up and instilled a hard work ethic. As you can see, hard work, consistency, and dedication were instilled into me at a very young age.
 My journey as a gymnast ended just before middle school, and my newly found passion became basketball. Hard work, dedication, and consistency were yet again instilled into me by my amazing coaches that I still look up to. I went on to graduate high school and played intermural sports in college. After college, I moved back home to work for my family's Sonic Drive-In Franchise, where I still work today.

For the past 10 years, I have always aspired of owning my own business helping women feel better about themselves.  I taught Zumba for 3-4 years at my local YMCA, and started a non-profit "CrossFit" style workout group. After years of coaching, and teaching, and guiding others, I realized this is my true passion in life. In 2016 I enrolled in Health Coaching school through the worlds largest holistic health coaching school, IIN. I graduated a year later and did NOTHING with my certification. It wasn't until the summer of 2020, while on maternity leave with my second baby boy, I decided, "NOW IS THE TIME." Even in the midst of a pandemic, Sara Jo Fountain Health Coaching, LLC was born.
With my programs, I teach my clients how to eat what they want and train how they want without ruining their results. We slowly work on getting rid of those bad habits, and forming healthy, sustainable new ones.

My superpower is helping women become the best version of themselves while pursuing the kind of life they actually want.... one with abundant freedom, joy, and peace. 

I love to teach, inspire and mentor women like you by teaching them how to love their bodies and create the life they have always wanted for themselves.

I want to empower you to take back control and make decisions based on intuitiveness and peace, and help you realize you are enough and more than worthy of all the things you want in this life.


Jesus, loving hard, shooting for the stars, straight talk, strong drinks, short emails, women empowering women, and cutting out the 'meh' to make room for the very best.


Negative mindset, demeaning others to make myself feel better, holding others back to reach their full potential, and bad attitudes.


Changing diapers, at the salon updating these lashes, on coaching calls with my wonderful clients, marketing Sonic, hanging with my best friend (hubby), working night and day on my health coaching business.

Morning affirmations, cuddles with my adorable children + sexy husband, avo toast, workout, and good skincare (ZO skincare! what!)

My Favorite Things

Food! I love learning and educating myself on healthier ways to fuel my body, but with delicious recipes! Cupcakes, desserts, BROWNIES are my guilty pleasures. Bambody protein brownies are my absolute favorite!

my happy place!

Traveling - we don’t get to do it as much with two little tots running around (one just started crawling!), but we LOVE to travel. My husband was a touring musician for years and traveled all over the country. We are excited to show our two little boys the world!

Being with my husband! He is literally my best friend. It may sound mushy, but it’s TRUE. I love going anywhere and doing anything with him. He is truly my soulmate and I'm so thankful God lead us to each other.  And of course, being with our sweet boys (Toby the dog included) brings me so much joy.  They are my entire world.
